India drops teaching Evolution and the Periodic Table in schools [View all]

They join Pakistan and Turkey as populous States that are not teaching the basic foundation of Biology. But they are also throwing out Chemistry.

It is a combination of religious fundamentalism and anti-colonialism that pushes this misguided agenda. It is not "Western Science" it is just Science.
