Most of his Covid policies were pro-virus. Contempt for masks, promoting personal "freedom" over saving lives, contempt for business closures and self-isolating, weak on vaccines, and even holding rallies during a pandemic. Wtf.

He helped spread the virus and encouraged others to spread the virus. He likely got a few hundred thousand more people killed than was necessary.


Yes, he's starting to fade somewhat, but I think this is largely due to the indictments over mishandling of classified information and his loss of his Twitter megaphone. Plus it's not clear what will happen if he wins the Republican nomination. It's entirely plausible to expect the media to revert to treating him like a must-watch reasonable contender to the presidency and propagandizing for him like they did in 2016.
