People leaving Florida. [View all]

The St. Pete Times, a liberal newspaper, printed a St. Paul man's letter to the editor today. He has known Florida for all of his 63 years. He has had it. Sold his condo and moved back to Minnesota. Will not live in a state that hates LBGTQ people, bans books, demonizes science, and is doing nothing about ridiculous property insurance rates. Doesn't like that the politicians are modeling themselves after autocrats. He asked that the good people of Florida not get sucked into the miasma.
This is on top of a meeting I saw on tonite's news given by farmers in the Miami area. He was begging the migrants to please stay as there will be no one to pick the crops. It took less than 6 years for duh-fascist to turn Florida into the shithole it has become. I am sick.
