This is really the time to sell, if people are considering it, because retirees up north are confronting another damned winter and Florida looks pretty good to those folks and maybe people who want to leave can unload the condo or tract house without losing their shirts. The retirees find out about the flying cockroaches, steambath weather, hurricanes, sinkholes, sky high electrical charges, and other nasty surprises later.

I can't blame anyone for leaving, you couldn't give me that state. I especially can't blame any woman under 50 for getting the hell away from there. I do know they're likely going to have enough of extremism and possibly choose more wisely next time. I don't think many things will change quickly.
