I would be scared. Already there's the insurance problem. I believe I've read that two insurance companies will no longer write new policies in FL.
Pretty soon property values could start falling.
I have a friend there and I worry about her. She has a condo, but when she lived here in NJ, she and her husband owned numerous properties in the expensive areas of NJ. They sold them all, and some recently, too, so she has to have a substantial amount from property appreciation. She doesn't talk like it, though, so I don't really know what's going on. She sounds like a real pennypincher.
I just wish she would get out of there.
