(26,395 posts)113. Good points you raise! Some are saying here in the Midwest (I'm in STLMO) that the tornadoes
(a seemingly larger number of tornados than usual) due to climate change. Weather is so complicated, so involved w/ millions of factors, that I think anyone knowing everything about weather and the changes that are occurring are kind of out there.
Some (an increasing number) do/are making sense in what they say, with regard to weather changes. I'll never downplay or downgrade what they say, since it does seem to be more negative weather-related events happening, and it's not just due to our 24x7 electronic media coverage. I also do think that some things, are logical and evident, such as increased moisture (along w/ its associated increase in energy) in the atmosphere, leads to increased tornadic activity, etc.
