We moved to affordable rent are near Cincinnati years ago - gun nut central. Now I live in a senior place farther out. It pushes my budget but I feel a lot safer and quite frankly happier not being around people who think taking a deadly weapon grocery shopping is a right but they have no responsibility to exercise that right in a safe manner.
I grew up in Eastern Kentucky. Everyone had guns and knew how to handle it. Heck, I was once a better shot than my dad. There weren't any gun nuts. They were merely tools to keep safe in the woods and find food. I don't know where THIS bunch of fools came from, but I wish they'd stay the hell out of schools and grocery stores and go back to hell where they belong.
