39. I've been in Missouri for two years after 12 in Texas

I never ran into any weird Nazi-ish shit in Texas aside from the crazy lady on my street telling me that we were under martial law in January 2021.

Texas is weird in that every Christian Republican seems to have a son in a same-sex marriage, and they are retiring to spend more time with the grandbabies.

Here is Texas in a nutshell. One of my most important clients was a Hispanic woman who celebrated all the major Jewish holidays for some reason despite being a fundamentalist Christian. She was married to a marine, had two kids who were cops, but her favorite kid was the gay one. She disliked Obama a lot, but then suddenly really really hated Trump. But also didn't like illegal immigrants.

Texas is nuts.

Anyway, Missouri sucks. I've had several bad run-ins here with Q-anon adjacent types.
