4. I read an interview with one of the founders.

Sorry don't have the link right now. But he said that about a month into the movement they got money from Dick Armey, and organizational help. He was happy, until he was pushed out as his creation was coopted. After OWS emerged he went to Zucotti, within a day, and addressed the General Assembly as a warning.

He became very active in OWS.
