The fact that so many blue-collar white people are pissed at the dems can be directly attributed to the voting rights act & the civil rights act that was passed by the dems in the 60's. It's just good old fashioned racsism. Then, you add faux nees and a.m. radio. These "news" outlets reassure the bigots with coded language (or, dog whistles if you like), legitimizing they're beliefs. Since these "journalists" tell them what they want to hear regarding our diverse society, it's much easier to accept the wholesale b.s. that's spoonfed to them. That's my humble opinion anyway.
