4. I have no idea why the BBC keeps trotting Gorka out as a commentator on US politics

He's always an asshole, always evasive, always insulting, and as crooked as they come. When was the last time he had a meaningful role in anything other than shooting his mouth off and projecting spittle?

It doesn't even make for "good" television because he's so fucking predictable.

As a Brit passingly familiar with US politics, it drives me crazy. If the object is to portray US politics as largely bonkers, mission accomplished. It's not "balance", which would be the probable excuse. I suppose these freaks tend to be a bit more colourful and even more floridly deranged than some of our own native nutjobs.

The BBC and other UK TV channels have also tended to go for the likes of John Bolton as a spoke with unseemly regularity over the years (though nowadays he's one of the saner US pundits they have on, grading on an enormous curve).
