but I don't think that Trump is seriously worried. Not yet, anyway. He thrives on contentiousness. He is addicted to the adrenalin rush of defying authority and asserting that he accepts no controls whatsoever. It's such a thrill for him that he loves it when anyone tries to reign him in. It gives him another adrenalin high.
He believes that he can beat this. He will never stop believing it until he is convicted, has lost all appeals, and is jailed. At that point, he will have a total collapse. The taller they stand, the harder they fall.
Trump does not have the inner strength of a Mandela or MLK to endure imprisonment with dignity. There is nothing inside him. No commitment to a genuine cause, no belief in anything but his own superiority. When that is gone, he will have nothing.
