These are the battles you Democrats in red states are fighting just to get or keep the ability to vote. You are fighting every day for the things many of us in the blue states take for granted. We get mad at your states but we are not mad at you. You are fighting the good fight. You are the battleground states. Your right to vote is the battleground itself.

I have your back. The people who have recced and commented below have your back. Please understand that anger at the policies and laws from the people in the above list is not anger at you. We know where you stand. Our hearts ache for you when we see your rights being stripped away. It is hard to understand how these things can happen in the United States and to our compatriots. We know it must make you feel like total crap to wake up in the morning under that authoritarian rule.

I promise in the future to always try to remember to make sure I state who I am really angry at in my posts. I am not mad at Florida. I am mad at Florida Republicans. I do not think Mississippians are all stupid. I think Mississippi Republicans are a bit dim. I will do my best to not be a lazy typer and take the time to be more careful how I phrase things.

Our Southern and Midwest DU Family should not come in here and be criticized and put down. See that list up above? Those people are already doing that EVERY minute of EVERY day. Our Red State DUers should come in here for family, for support, for ideas and most importantly, they should know that we have their backs. And having someone's back means you aren't constantly criticizing them because of where they live.

Besides, those Southern Drawls are so cute!
