(8,387 posts)It was not decided which of many various writings should be included in the New Testament until 325 AD. Prior to then, there were a lot of written works which various folks considered "holy", but there was no "New Testament" until hundreds of years after the alleged events in question.
The first constitutional democracy of note would not be until more than 1400 years after that. So, the "True Christians" managed to evade historical detection for quite a while until you showed up in this thread.
If I got into a time machine and landed anywhere between 325 AD and, say, 1700 AD, where would I be most likely to find these people?
Mind you, in general, most people could not read and outside of a very select few within the church, nobody had a copy of the New Testament.
So, when did these "True Christians" all get access to the New Testament? Because the god of the Bible certainly did an effective job of keeping anyone from having a copy for a good long time.
