It’s troublesome to me all the time. We’ve been friends since we were in grade school and too young for that issue to ever come up til years later.

We have too much else and too many years between us, and too many other shared ideas and values, I guess.

I find myself tempted to think maybe I can sand down that one rough edge but you can’t change anyone til they want to change for themselves. And she’s never taken steps to change my view on the issue, either, fortunately enough.
