Someone has been putting Wagner recruiting posters on trash receptacles in Poland (good place for them). That part has evidence. A guy was tackled and detained because he was spotted doing it. That's the part that's apocryphal, nobody knows for sure if he's the guy responsible.

Bullshit against Poland might be one reason Lukashenko thinks they've outstayed their welcome. Unlike Putin, Luashenko knows that Poland today is nothing like Poland in 1939. They are now a force to be reckoned with and they'll squash him like a bug if the need arises. Since Putin is no longer capable of paying their way, that's two reasons they have to go. I think Luashenko originally thought they'd be the big dog in the front yard discouraging NATO from invading his country. He didn't know Wagner would be trying to instigate just that.
