Checking in from Palm Springs tonight. I picked up sandbags today at the city hall (hard work) and my house is as secure as I can make it. I'm in a very low risk flood zone, so I think my biggest worry is going to be losing power.

I have solar, which still generates even with clouds. It won't support the AC, but at least I'll have the refrigerator, fans, and a TV. I ran to Arco and up the tank on the car and stopped at Walmart and stocked up. We are as ready as we will ever be. Wish us luck.
