Immigration is a national issue. There is nothing wrong with bussing the 2 million migrants who are crossing the border every year to various large cities across the country. They have to go somewhere. Do the mayors of the largest cities in the US truly not believe that with 2 million migrants coming across the border every year, a sizeable number will not show up in their cities every year, hoping to be resettled there?

There is something very wrong with saying you support immigration then throwing a NIMBY fit the moment your city or state has to help support migrants and it's not just left to Texas to deal with it any more where the problem is invisible to you.
