Even if the enhancement didn’t affect the sentence, including it in the sentencing record could have some affect on parole/early release, or sentence adjustment if the inmate gets into trouble while incarcerated.

It could also affect future jobs or the ability to travel internationally or by public conveyance (air, train, cruise ship).
