A maggot brain like Tuberville's would survive anything that would wipe out dinosaurs and cockroaches.

Perhaps depriving him of his current taxpayer-financed position and putting him to work in another public capacity, such as making license plates or turning big rocks into little ones, would result in rapid personal growth, if not some kind of spiritual transformation.
