Well, let's see:

1. Born a US citizen? Check

2. At least 35 years old? Check

3. Lived in the US for 14 years? Check

4. Hasn't been elected president twice already? Check

5. Hasn't been elected president once already after serving two years of someone else's presidential term? Check

That's it. Now, some people have raised the issue of whether he has engaged in rebellion or insurrection against the United States. Absent a court decision, that seems to be matter of opinion.

But, no, we do not place the power to decide who runs for president into the hands of a county prosecutor.
