49. I think some of this

'behavioral science' is turning out to be kind of fragile. (not terribly well supported) I won't dive deeply - but scientists have spent generations (almost deliberately?) dismissing and underestimating the abilities ... (while pet owners routinely exaggerate ..) And then there's the problem of trying 'overlay' our own experience of perceptions and consciousness - to explain and define what we observe in other beings.
