I'm a boomer myself and I will very proudly stand up and say:

Hell yes I am mad about this!

As the OP points out, WE, as a country, as a world, and as a species, are NOT doing anywhere near enough to confront and mitigate the damages our lifestyles are causing.

We can change this.

A recent post I just made points out that it would probably be CHEAPER for us to speed the transition away from fossil fuels than it is to continue our day-to-day use of them;

"The researchers point out, however, that coal is still hanging around like a bad smell because “considerations such as jobs, tax payments, political constraints, or financial liquidity keep governments investing in coal even when renewables actually have a better pay-off.”

It isn't an age thing, it never was, but yes, This Boomer joins with ALL the other age groups and says "Yes, I am Mad!"
