The court case gained quite a lot of public attention in the UK, little of it favourable to Trump. He was mobbed by those who weren't won over by his arguments when he made his court appearance to give "evidence", despite having paid students £20 to attend an astroturfed protest in his favour, a tactic he's used at various times:
