9. Could this be what Iran wants? To drag the US into armed combat in the Mideast?

The US is supporting Ukraine and fighting Putin with large sums of money and huge amounts of weapons

Then we do the same in Israel?

China has been saber rattling in the Pacific. We are beefing up US military resources there too.

At the same time the GOP is crippling the US military.

Trump greatly weakened our military and intelligence community by disseminating classified information.
The CIA reported quite a few deaths and kidnapping of its assets after Trump took office.
US military has many top level vacant spots.

I am not saying we should not help Israel, or not send troops.
I am just saying we need to step back and look at the global picture.
Are we being set up?
