53. Does Israel always have boots on the ground in Gaza?

Are Israeli soldiers regularly patrolling inside Gaza?

If they aren't --- and I think you know that is the answer -- how would the IDF know and target anyone with a weapon? How could they not know about, and stop, the rockets regularly launched from within Gaza?

Frankly, it appears that the occupying force in Gaza isn't Israel, its Hamas, which essentially is holding the population hostage and allowing them to take the brunt of Israeli's predictable retaliation for Hamas's atrocities.
