High fructose corn syrup is one of the worst things you can consume, and it is in so many processed foods.

I joke that Chinese food places have closed because of Keto. We had a place we went to for years. It closed about six months after I started Keto.

My wife takes a similar drug for her diabetes. She has dropped nearly 20 pounds in a year. Her sweet cravings are definitely reduced. The drug has helped with her A1C (when she was half dosing her A1C went up from 7.4 to 9.2 - f_ck the insurance companies who wouldn't pay for a second pen when her dosage amount pen wasn't available because everyone was taking the drug for weight loss).

Food can be as addictive as other drugs. An example is when my wife panicked when she thought she couldn't get her McD breakfast sandwich.
