Talk about an "endless war."
And are these the same folks who howled when President Biden pulled us out of Afghanistan? Another "endless war" started by Republicans?
The lack of valid information out there about history and politics is astounding, and depresses me no end.
One example: the other day I ran into someone who seriously didn't know which side the Germans were on during World War II. Also didn't know what years the war was fought. Had a vague notion that there was something called D-Day, but only because she'd heard from some friends about "Saving Private Ryan."
For decades the GOP has been on the rampage against public education in all its forms. As Trump told us, they "love uneducated voters."
