5. Problem here is, the supreme court has already weighed in

On the concerns now being raised, since the yahoos tried to keep the amendment off the ballot for the very same reasons before the election.

I'm sure they will still claim the heartbeat bill is consistent with our new constitutional rights and refuse to change it, and I'm equally sure it will be declared unconstitutional by the supreme court. It will be messy - and it will still pose undue burdens until the cases wind their way through the courts. But ultimately, it is a good, solid amendment.

My concern is more that there will be repeated attempts to repeal it, and that voters will be unable to sustain the energy that got the amendment passed in the first place.
