(69,380 posts)23. I'm also seeing the drama triangle at work.
I see individuals who are very invested in living on the drama triangle, where they take on the three roles - victim, oppressor, savior - in turn.
Being a savior is appealing. It requires a villain and a victim, though. This complex situation has been cast in simplistic terms with the Palestinians (and Hamas - I'm not fooled by protestations to the contrary) as the victims, the Israelis/U.S. Establishment/Republicans as the villain oppressors, and the "non-Establishment Left" as the saviors.
Apparently this "saving" is manifested as vandalism, saying mean things on social media, and shoving pictures of watermelons in Black people's faces.

OP
Which countries exactly, in these days? Certainly not ours if the GOP returns to the White House.

IMO, advocating adding to 6 million murders and continuing genocide is worse

As it turns out, some bigotry is perfectly okay as long as it's aimed at the "right" people. N/T

Absolutely. The means are justified by the goals - which are heroic and require sacrifices.

Yes, in the case of minorities that they oppose they just refer to them as Establishment

It's been interesting watching definitions change in service of this ideology, too.

Just a link? I don't go to links that don't provide a preview. Especially from newbies.
