would be to see a slightly more moderate and much less obnoxious candidate running on a platform of pardoning him. Look, sending a former president to jail IS a BFD. All of us here understand that there’s a reason he should be in jail; he’s a criminal. The seriousness of his crimes are just starting to be hinted at. Why have so many US intelligence assets been compromised? Is it actually possible he was selling secrets to Russia?

However, for the great unwashed and uneducated masses a platform of “free poor misunderstood and persecuted Donald from the clutches of a politicized DOJ” might just be a winning ticket. The Maggsts already believe this, but it’s the low info “undecideds” that could swing the election. They might not be willing to vote for tRump, but they also might not think he should be behind bars.

Not to do a “Godwin” (sp?) here, but don’t forget; before Hitler seized power he did a stint in jail, and emerged stronger then ever.
