15. Interesting Div 3 women's soccer story.

There is a conference called the University Athletic Association - Wash U, University of Rochester (NY), Case Western Reserve, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, U of Chicago, Emory, and Brandeis.

In the Div 3 post season tournament, 7 out of the 8 UAA teams got into the conference. 7!!!!. 3 of the 7 only won 3 of their 7 regular season conference games, and another 3 only won ONE of their regular season conference games.

So 10% of the 64 teams that got into the post-season tournament were from a single conference, and 6 of them didn’t even have winning records. How’s that for unfair?
