166. Thank you, malthaussen. But I was never a tank commander.

I spent most of my hitch as a loader, because I was good at it, and could load that gun fast. I also served as the driver for a while. And was just beginning more intensive simulator training in order to move up to tank gunner when I got out of the Army. But I was never the tank commander.

I was also never issued a Glock as a sidearm. (I just know what they look like).

My original sidearm, and the one I deployed to the Gulf with was the (even then) ancient M1911A1 Colt .45 semi-automatic. I can't remember what skill level I qualified with on that one. But when we got back from the Gulf, we were all issued brand new Beretta 9mm semis, and I swiftly qualified Expert with it.

I know what a lot of sidearms look like, even if I never used them the same way I know what most of the tanks in the world look like, even though I never crewed them: I studied them all very carefully.
