and I offer some free advice (remember you're getting what you paid for it)
Remember...you have to protect the rights of everybody now...you're EVERYBODY'S MAYOR...even those with whom you do not agree.....
count to 10 before making any decision (okay..so I usually only make it to three)...
You will see and hear things that will tear your heart out....don't let those things steal your humanity...
You are a public servant...not a king...
Ask lots of questions...
Staff DOES have their own agenda...be skeptical.
Just a few thoughts.
