1. Does it seem to anyone else that we lost proportionately so many more major figures this year?

I usually recognize and can appreciate the faces, names, & accomplishments of maybe a few dozen. This year I have to think I know more than 80% and the numbers seem staggering in all of these 'lists" and video tributes.

I guess we are just reaching that peak for a significant couple of generations and of course cancer, drug overdoses, automobile accidents, and suicide can affect those of any age. Sigh...
