a bursting appendix and nearly died.

Similar happened to my daughter's brother except he is just eleven, black, they pretended he was drug seeking, and the poor boy ended up in the hospital for almost a month with cascading issues stemming from the bursted appendix.

Yes, they let men and boys suffer and die too.

Not at all to minimize this travesty but you are definitely off base with this piece of it.
