112. When actors hear the child of a star say that their dad's name only got them through the door,

and that they alone were responsible for their success, other actors laugh.

"Getting through the door to get an audition is 95% of the problem," reply the hundreds of equally talented people who are working as servers in restaurants.

For example, if you were a producer casting "The Streets of San Francisco" and you learned Michael Douglas was interested in the part, would you even hold open auditions, let alone audition a guy named "Pauly Shore"?

And if you were Michael Douglas, would you turn down the gig because, "They're only hiring me because my dad's name is 'Kirk Douglas'"?

Same thing with Hunter Biden. If the Repugs didn't think they could use his last name to go after President Biden -- and get a revenge impeachment for Der Fuhrer to use during the election -- do you think they would care about a recovering drug addict?
