Awesome job indeed fellow elected public servant!
I was elected Park Commissioner for my local community, officially after November 6th election. We had a primary in August were all Democrats ran against each other (i.e. -- its' fairly impossible for a Republican to get elected in my local community within the S.E. Michigan woods).
I won one of nine seats on the Parks Commission out of twelve candidates. So, in the November 6th election, candidates that won in August ran unopposed.
