I don't think much of that matters. There is no requirement to be an American in order to trade on the NYSE. Financial instruments like loans and bonds would still be valid. The new Nation of Texas could issue passports.

But as you say, it ain't going to happen, not because of the things you state, but because Texans have no real interest in independence.
