But It’s not lost on me that Charles has been in the wings waiting to be King his entire adult life. Queen Elizabeth lived long and well and decided not to relinquish the Crown even in advanced age.

Now, less than a year after his coronation, Charles is diagnosed with cancer of . . . What? We might assume the prostate but we really don’t know nor do we know the stage of said cancer.

Even to me, that seems royally unfair.

Bad luck? Karma? I don’t know but an astounding, even shocking turn of events.
