President Biden is quiet, thoughtful, serious, hardworking and goodhearted. He puts his head down and figures out how to get the job done. Not pointless flash, but substance instead ... and he's funny as heck.
The man was done with the national stage. He went home to be husband, dad and grandpa. To play with his dogs and teach a few classes. He earned it.
A day will come in the future when even his detractors admit the incredible sacrifice he made for us. He could have stuck to just saving Democracy from Trump. Instead, he got a ridiculous amount of initiatives through that make a material difference for everyday Americans. He's doing everything possible to make sure his "replacements" are ready for the job. He put people in positions to help them step up to a higher stage.
I don't think we really know how fortunate we are to have him in this moment.
