he should get out with some years left in his life. He'll be destitute, friendless, and on the sex offender list forever. In this case, I don't think castration would make any difference and I'm not sure it would in other cases. Perhaps castration for the people who cover up child molestation would work better. There were people who knew what Jimmy Saville and Jeffrey Epstein were up to who have gone unpunished. George Deukmejian protected thousands of molesters. We cannot forget how monstrous the enablers are.
In the case of this child, she was also molested, abused, and discarded by different people earlier in her life, but she has gotten a lot of support and treatment and she has an activity that she absolutely loves. The law enforcement and treatment organizations here have been truly outstanding in their response. It takes a village to help repair a damaged child and I am so proud of how my community has responded to help this child.
