Taylor Swift Donates $100K to Family of Woman Killed at Chiefs Victory Parade [View all]
https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/taylor-swift-donation-woman-killed-chiefs-victory-parade-1234969440/Taylor Swift has contributed $100,000 to a GoFundMe page set up for the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who was killed in a mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory parade earlier this week.
The Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan Memorial page was set up Thursday afternoon with a goal of raising $75,000 for the victim’s family. Early this morning, Swift pushed the total past its goal with two separate donations of $50,000. So far, more than 1,300 people have donated. Variety confirmed Swift’s donations are legitimate.
“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss,” the singer wrote on the page alongside her dual donations. “With love, Taylor Swift.”
