62. I've traveled to 64 counties and the only place I was detained at Customs was Canada.

It was over 30 years ago and I was with my sister, BIL, and my 19 year old son. We arrived in Victoria by boat. My son and I were asked to step into another area and were questioned about our trip to Guatemala. They wouldn't allow me to tell my sister where we were nor our hotel transport. After they had taken our Arkansas driver's licenses and made some phone calls, we were released. It took around 50 minutes. I was in tears and told my sis and hotel driver I wanted to go home.
Eventually I recovered from my embarrassment and calling Canada bad names. We think it was my son that lead to us being really checked out. He looked like a drug smuggler in a B-rated movie. Long hair, bushy beard, and black clothes. And the recent trip to Central America.
