Trump finally mentions Navalny...but not really. [View all]

He talks about Navalny's "sudden death," as if the guy just magically keeled over for no reason and no one's fault...and then launches straight into his boilerplate airing of grievances that have absolutely nothing to do with Navalny.

Honestly, I thought he'd try to compare himself to Navalny by claiming he too is a victim of "political persecution" (others have done so), but I think that's too close to pinning some blame on Putin. And he wouldn't dare do that.
