A number of legal experts and Democratic figures have now suggested Jordan and other Republicans could face consequences if it is found Russian intelligence was the source of the alleged false bribery claims they said justified the impeachment of Biden.
Wishful thinking.
Unless there is overwhelming evidence connecting Jordan et. al. to Smirnov's lies, this will just fade into history with all the other bullshit they've done.
edited to add: even with overwhelming evidence, what would happen? Seriously. They ignore subpoenas and regularly break rules without consequence.
