But I know how things run in NYC. County committee is a nothing position here. There are over 4000 county committee people in Brooklyn alone. It's an unpaid volunteer position with no responsibilities or power. They would fill those positions with homeless if they could get away with it.

And I have no doubt that in smaller, less populous countries that county committees do more. But that's not how things are in NYC.
