If they either convene a conference to rewrite (or the Insurrectionist does so unilaterally), Mrs Best and I will be exploring expat options. Both she and I have ZERO desire to live under any authoritarian regime.

Initially thinking either Nova Scotia or BC as expat locations. We are about a day's drive from Ontario so that would also be an option if things here really went sideways. I would also look at Ireland or Iceland, but I'm thinking if the Insurrectionist is in the WH, Vlad and his Orcs will likely make a move into Central and Western Europe (after finishing off Ukraine), and his Assets in the WH and Congress will let him do it. I really would not want to be anywhere in or near Europe if that happens.

In a protracted conflict, I can see Vlad potentially targeting Iceland in an attempt to lock up the North Atlantic seas and skies from shipping and air cargo transport to the UK and Western Europe.
