I will say first of all, that any wrongful death committed by a member of any race against another member of any race is an egregious, inexcusable act.

I tuned into a right wing-nut radio talk show today (for a very few minutes) and the ongoing conversation was relative to the murdered college girl whose slayer has/had been identified as an 'illegal immigrant' which of course, led to a blame-game, shit-show directed at Biden's 'open border policy...' That was when I turned back to a music station.

But almost immediately, I had the thought, "What ethnicity/race individuals have been committing all the mass shootings for the past years?"

Wait for it...

Between 1982 and December 2023, 80 out of the 149 mass shootings in the United States were carried out by White shooters. By comparison, the perpetrator was African American in 26 mass shootings, and Latino in 12. When calculated as percentages, this amounts to 54 percent, 17 percent, and eight percent respectively.

But the wing-nuts never offer the comparison data.
