44. The reason is that Repughs are acting in denial to control the narrative.

It's either it's rigged, he's being persecuted, the maga voters are being persecuted or assorted other excuses. Repughs (except for a few) won't admit for a second that Trump has done anything wrong. By doing so, they keep that narrative out of the right-wing media that they worship (since they ignore legitimate media).

It's all a game. The only way to counter it for the media to cover it. But here's the thing: They'll cover it like journalists, not like the cheerleading right-wing media. I know we all wish the legitimate media would act like Fox, but they can't and they won't. They have ethics. Fox and friends do not.
